While each shoot brings with it the need for a unique stylistic approach, my work tends to draw upon the influences of the classical talents of yesteryear, such as the likes of Robert Mapplethorpe and Irving Penn.

My specialty resides within the realm of black & white portrait and fashion photography, specifically that which captures a raw noir mood, or an "in the moment" feel. I also subscribe to the belief that “a portrait is not made in the camera but on either side of it", which sees me shy away from heavy post-shoot editing, and gravitate toward building natural chemistry with those I photograph.
